THE Bunbury Cup is the biggest day of the South West Autumn Racing Carnival with more than 7,000 people expected to spend the day at the Bunbury Turf Club.

5:35pm: Young Knight wins the final race of the day. Second was Jinsky Magic and third was Leshabon.

4.57pm: Classique Ivory wins the 2014 Bunbury Cup! The horse was paying $17.50 for the win. In second place was Operational and third past the post was Summah's Touch.
Classique Ivory was ridden by Shaun O'Donnell.
4:30pm: The main race, the XXXX Gold Bunbury Cup, is just over 20 minutes away and the anticipation is building dramatically on track.

4.21pm: Ocean Cracker has won Race 8, the William Barrett and Sons Vase. In second was Chorus Boy and in third Just Hoping.
3:39pm: International jockey Noel Callow wins the State of Origin race aboard Not a Single Drop. Mr Balfire ran second with Tranquila Start third.

3:00pm: Beauty and the Beast holds off the competition to win Race 6. Media Alert and Always A Smile came in second and third respectively.

2:21pm: Sunhaven, which was paying $61.70 for the win, takes out Race 5 from Corella and Fair Achiever.

1.41pm: Saxy Filly has taken out Race 4, with Fairway to Venus in second and Tale Wind coming past the post third.
12:58pm: Grey Enigma has won Race 3 from Riders on the Storm and Frisbee. Bullamanka ran in fourth.

12.22pm: Race 2 was a very tight contest, with Holy Maximum taking out first, Silver Gimlett in second and Capital coming in third.
11:45am: Friarpack claims the win in the first race on Bunbury Cup day. Danabresa is second while Testimonial Mak ran third. The winning jockey Jarrad Noske, astride Friarpack, was the winner of last year's Bunbury Cup.

11:30am: The Bunbury Mail team has arrived at the Bunbury Turf Club for a big day of racing. While it looks a bit overcast the track is in a fantastic condition for today’s 10 race card.
9:30am: This year’s XXXX Gold Bunbury Cup has a quality field of 15 runners engaged in the 2200 metre race with a prize pool of $110,000 on offer.

2014 is not just the year of the horse but also the year of the inaugural state of origin jockey challenge.
A field of 10 has been organised for the race which features an international jockey in Noel Callow along with jockeys from WA, New South Wales, Victoria, Tasmania, Queensland and South Australia.
