The Harvey Bulls have had an up and down off season losing multiple players and gaining some solid new ones in their place.
At one point it seemed Harvey was going to challenge for a good run at the finals but after a few player losses it’s hard to see Harvey posting much of a difference from last season.
The Bulls welcome former Peel Thunder ruckman Phillip Pohlenz-Saw to help fill a gap that left them vulnerable in many matches last season.
The local Bulls are strong but there aren’t enough of them.
On paper the Bulls look exceptionally strong but this has been the case in many seasons for Harvey.
Boosting the ranks of their key positions has certainly been a focus for Harvey this offseason as their midfield and outside runners can match anyone on a good day.
David Faulkner, Ryan Mooney, Dean Miller and Chris Rodgers are all strong around the ground and Harvey also boasts a strong forward line.
Greg Sanders will continue to be the main target while the inclusion of Andrew Rake will add that extra forward height the Bulls need.
Young players such as Brayden Mann, Zetlind Marino and Logan Egerton-Green will also continue to progress for the Bulls.
Harvey will want to make a statement this year but without depth in the side the Bulls will still find it hard to compete with the rest of the league.
