THE cyclists riding to Bondi along side the Bluff to Bondi runners had a much easier day yesterday than on Saturday.
There were no punctures, no gravel roads and no one fell off their bicycle yesterday.
It was a much improved effort from the cyclists who are running low on supplies after 10 punctures on Saturday.
"It was a much better day. We didn't get lost as much and managed to stay off the gravel," cyclist Rod McCormack said.
The cyclists rode up the Hume Freeway for the first 20 kilometres before heading into the country.
Mr McCormack said it was one of the biggest days so far.
"It was a long way but we all seemed to be having fun and the ride has been gentle so far. Everyone has sore bottoms but still going strong as you could expect."
Cyclist Scott Russell has also been struck down with heat stroke, but battled on to finish despite being unwell.
"Scotty is pretty crook, but hopefully he will come right in the morning," Mr McCormack said.
