A 61-year-old man was killed in a crash in Capel on Monday night, taking the state’s road toll to five for the Easter weekend.
A 61-YEAR-OLD man was killed in Capel on Monday night in a single car crash.
South West Traffic acting officer-in-charge Sergeant Robert Malcolm told the Bunbury Mail the car was found on the Bussell Highway near Halls Road in Capel about 8pm.
The death takes the state’s road toll to five for the Easter weekend following fatal crashes in Margaret River, Collie, Carnarvon and Bruce Rock.
Investigations into the Capel incident are continuing and anyone who witnessed the incident is urged to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
