BUNBURY police are calling for the public’s assistance with their investigation into an assault that occurred in Bunbury on April 29.
At about 12.45am a 30 year old woman was cycling along Picton Road heading towards Bunbury.
As she approached the intersection of the South West Highway and Robertson Drive, she noticed three men walking across the intersection.
Suddenly the men ran towards her and one man struck her to the right side of her face, knocking her off the bike, causing her to hit her face on the ground.
While she was lying on the ground, one of the men tipped the contents of her handbag onto the ground.
It is believed he stole her mobile before the group fled.
There is no description of the men other than one was wearing a dark hooded jacket.
