AN innovative smartphone app designed by the Dalyellup College country week coaches helped the students and parents keep track of all the action on and off the field.
The app was made available to players notifying them of important meetings, news, training and motivational content.
Parents were also give the opportunity to download the app onto their phones or tablets to follow live scores and see photos throughout the week.
Country week manager Blake Kampen said most of the students own smartphones so the school through they could use it to their advantage.
“We were able to use the technology available now to communicate much more effectively and directly with our country week students and parents,” he said.
The week was a success on and off the court with two of the school’s four teams participating in grand finals with the boys basketball team winning their second successive shield.
