THREE Victoria Street businesses have joined forces to host a glamorous fashion parade and reintroduce the community to what they believe is a flourishing part of the city.
Baby Belly Maternity Wear, 3Ciana Women’s Clothing and Little Wing Studio Boutique will hold the classy event at the Bill Brown building this Saturday and have invited everyone to come along and join the fun.
3Ciana owner Vanessa Schefe moved into the historic Bill Brown address in January and while she has been enjoying plenty of interest in her pre-loved wares, she was keen to spread the word even further.
“It’s also about giving back to the community and to our customers – thanking them for all the support and introducing ourselves to new people,” Ms Schefe said.
The three businesses agreed that their end of town in the CBD had transformed this year.
There seems to be a real sense of community and positive energy from young people thanks to groups like X2Y – it’s a lot easier to work together instead of slugging it out on your own.

“Six months ago a lot of these buildings were vacant, now they are full – with the addition of alfresco dining at the cafes and restaurants and the street lighting, it has become a really beautiful place to be,” Ms Schefe said.

Guests are asked to wear smart casual attire and will be provided with drink and gourmet finger food.
