LETTER to the EDITOR: On Monday, September 1 my husband took me to the Bunbury Forum Shopping Centre to get a few groceries.
I am currently in a wheelchair recovering from recent surgery to my ankle.
As we are still awaiting an Acrod Parking Permit, we did the right thing and parked far away from the entrance, where there are always plenty of parking spots.
To allow me to get out of the car and into the wheelchair, my husband parked across two bays.
Not a problem as there where empty spaces all around us.
Imagine our surprise when we returned shortly after, to find a rude note left on our windscreen:
“Ding dang dong douche... Be considerate of others and learn how to park.”
There were still empty spaces all around us.
People are too quick to pass judgement.
My husband was quite upset as he was reluctant to park across lanes, but it was the only way I could get in and out of the car.
The result?
I may need to stay home until the Acrod sticker arrives.
