Thieves have stolen firearms from a home in South Hedland.
Sometime between 10pm on August 22 and 5.30am on August 23, offenders have broken into the property, forced open a cabinet and taken three firearms: A Weatherby .223 Bolt Repeater Rifle; a HMR .17 Bolt Repeater Rifle; and a Hatsan .177 Air Rifle.
The second theft occurred between 5.30pm on September 15 and 12.50pm on September 16, when offenders stole a .22 Bolt Action Rifle.
Senior Constable Lee Burgess, from South Hedland Police Station, reminded gun owners to secure their firearms.
"We are seeking information that could assist us with locating these firearms, or identifying the person or people involved with their theft. Information can be provided anonymously – all we want is information we can act on to get these firearms off the streets of our community"," he said.
