DOG owners across Bunbury have been asked to speak up on the City of Bunbury’s review of its dog exercise and dog-prohibited areas.
In July the City asked the community if they would like more, less or the same amount of dog exercise areas.
The results have been collated and a new map has now been drafted for public comment.
Shown on the map are the proposed dog-exercise areas as well as the proposed prohibited areas.
Community law and safety manager John Kowal said it was important for the community to have their say.
“It is important that the community provides feedback so that we’re able provide areas that are best suited for people to be able to exercise their pet in a safe environment without impacting on other users,” Mr Kowal said.
Bunbury residents are invited to have their say on the proposed map by visiting bunbury.wa.gov.au and downloading a copy of the map.
Hard copies will also be available at the Customer Service building at 4 Stephen Street, Bunbury or by phoning 9795 2272.
Comments can be emailed to records@bunbury.wa.gov.au or via post to PO Box 21, Bunbury WA 6231.
Submissions close on Friday, October 31.
