FOOTBALL: In exciting news for Bunbury, the West Coast Eagles will bring their playing squad to town in February as part of the Australia Post AFL Community Camps program.
A spokesperson for the club said as blue and gold passion continues to spread across Western Australia, the community camp is a fantastic opportunity for country fans to interact with the players.
Since the initiative began in 2003, the Eagles have visited regional towns across the state, providing a rare chance for West Coast supporters to meet their heroes before the season proper gets underway.
The players will be out and about in Bunbury on February 10 and 11 visiting schools, aged care facilities and hospitals.
The club also plans to hold a number of community events including a massive coaching clinic for local primary schools.
