UPDATE: A small plane is believed to have made an emergency landing about 50 nautical miles south of Halls Creek on Friday, according to police reports.
The pilot reported engine failure as they attempted a landing in the Kimberley.
Two people were on board the Cessna 210 when it went down but police said no one was injured.
Police and emergency service workers are on their way to the scene.
