ABOUT 3500 people turned out on Saturday night for the Multicultural Night Under the Stars at the Graham Bricknell Music Shell.

There was a fantastic range of food and entertainment for the whole family to enjoy and created a wonderful atmosphere for all involved.
The event kicked off with a colourful and poignant flag ceremony where 40 countries stood together proud of there country of origin.
A Welcome to Country by Troy Bennell and family and the National Anthem delivered by Courtney Gledhill.
Event organiser Shamara Williams said, “This event has had unprecedented growth in recent years with the migration of a number of different cultural groups calling Greater Bunbury their home. All evening I had people come up to me to say that they hadn't known there were so many different cultural groups in greater Bunbury.”
“The fact that well over 3000 people gathered on Saturday night to enjoy this cross cultural experience shows that the local community is open to embracing cultural traditions from other countries.”
The Bunbury Multicultural Group endeavors to build harmony in the community and for all to embrace the diversity of the place we reside in.
Every year the event grows in numbers and the support shown by the community has had and hopes to continue to reflect positively in the community.
