Police are seeking the public’s assistance with their investigation into a fatal crash in Williams on February 27.
At about 2:55pm, a white Toyota Hilux utility travelling north on Albany Highway, just south of the Williams-Kondinin Road, has veered into the path of a bus travelling in the opposite direction.
The tray back utility has spun a few metres before coming to rest which left the driver, a 64 year old Mount Barker man trapped.
First aid was administered by a doctor and two nurses who were off duty at the time.
Despite their efforts to preserve life, the man passed away at the scene.
Police would like to speak to anyone who saw the white Toyota Hilux utility before the crash and especially those who were travelling in a northerly direction along Albany Highway behind the utility.
