POLICE in Bunbury are investigating a third armed hold-up in as many weeks.
At about 5.20am on Tuesday morning, a man armed with a large knife entered the store and demanded cash from the attendant before he left the store and fled on foot.
The man is described as being fair skinned, approximately 183 cm tall with a medium build and wearing dark clothing.
This crime is the latest in a series of armed robberies in Bunbury.
At about 7.20pm on April 8, a man armed with a knife approached a staff member at the Dan Murphy's store on Spencer Street in Bunbury.
The man threatened the staff member with the knife and demanded money which he was given before he left the store on foot.
He was described as being about 30 years of age, approximately 183cms tall, with a medium to large build, and light skin.
He was wearing blue jeans and a black hooded jumper and had his face covered.
On March 30, a man with socks over his hands used a large kitchen knife to threaten staff at the Strickland Street Chicken Treat store.
The man is believed to be in his 20s and used the knife to demand a staff member empty a small amount of cash from the till into the green Coles bag that he brought with him.
The man fled the store on foot and was wearing bright green running shoes, jeans and a black jumper and had a slim build.
