CLOSE to 1000 energetic runners hit the pavement for Sunday morning's Surf to Surf Fun Run, starting and finishing at the City of Bunbury Surf Life Saving Club.
All ages, shapes and sizes took part in a variety of events including a 10 kilometre run, five kilometre run and a five kilometer walk.
It was all smiles and plenty of sweat as runners crossed the finish line.
The first three across the line for the five kilometre run was Matt Duncan, followed by Bailey Taylor with Ryan Sanders coming in third.
For the 10 kilometre run, Jack John took out first place with Pete Andrews second and Jason Gurdie third.
