THE Bunbury community has embraced a new style of eating in the past couple weeks with Market Eating House opening their doors for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
The Victoria Street venue is one of the latest in a string of eateries to open the doors in recent months.
Owner Bec Pyke said their restaurant had added to the vibrancy of the CBD and she hoped it would bring more people into town.
The whole idea behind Market Eating House is to bring the share style element into the restaurant because it is the way they eat at home with their friends and family.
“We couldn’t have asked for a better response from the community and everyone has embraced the sharing style more than we anticipated,” she said.
“People have liked the relaxed and welcoming atmosphere and the variety in the food.”
“It has really added to the vibe of the restaurant and you can see different tables are talking to each other.”
The CBD has also welcomed small bars Lost Bills, Sala Wine Lounge and Cafe 140's new bar in addition to Yours Or Mine which opened earlier in the year.
The Happy Wife owner Paul Griffin will expand his customer base by opening a gourmet burger bar next door to his venue on Stirling Street, across from Leschenault Quays.
Paddy’s Patties will open the doors on December 4.
Also, a new lease arrangement will see Bunbury’s Back Beach restaurant open its doors before Christmas.
