THE Department for Child Protection and Family Support has relocated the bushfire recovery centre at Australind to the Harvey Town Hall.
The centre is one of two operating in the South West to help people obtain information and referrals to services after bushfires in Waroona, Yarloop, Preston Beach and surrounding areas.
The Harvey Recovery Centre on Uduc Road is open between 9am and 3pm.
A Bushfire Recovery Centre is also operating out of the Waroona Community Resource Centre at 10 Henning Street in Waroona.
It is open between 9am and 4pm.
People needing help after the fires can visit one of the recovery centres to request referrals to support services, find out about emergency accommodation, access psychological services such as counselling and obtain other information.
Organisations helping to provide services in the recovery phase include the Adventist Development Relief Agency, Salvation Army, Volunteering WA, the Red Cross, Youthcare and Commonwealth agencies.
