The Dalyellup Park Rangers league side were out to show a 4-1 win over Bunbury Dynamos earlier in the 2016 season was no one-off when the two teams met on Sunday.
Dalyellup caught Dynamos on the break and opened the scoring through Josh Atherton. The Bunbury side had levelled the score by half time. A header from Iain Geare in the second half put Dalyellup up 2-1 but Dynamos found a late equaliser in the 88th minute. Atherton was named the Aussie Living man of the match.
The ladies side faced a tough morning against Hay Park. During the game the Hay Park side made things difficult for Dalyellup and ran out 7-0 winners. The Dalyellup’s woman of the match was Chrissy Downs.
Dalyellup’s masters side enjoyed a good run out after a few weeks off and managed to get straight back to winning ways against Eaton-Dardanup.
Dalyellup took control with a first half hat-trick from Phil Kirk. Two goals to Chris Hedley and one to Markus Streil saw the Rangers claim a 6-1 victory.
The Division One fixture saw Dalyellup take on a very strong Dynamos side. Dalyellup fought hard for the whole game but Dynamos’ quality shone through to see them home 7-0 winners. Ayden Bandura was named Dalyellup’s man of the match for an excellent game at right back.
Finally the reserve’s side also went down to Dynamos 3-0. The Ranger missed two penalties which proved costly. Callum Spires was named Dalyellup’s best.
