Dalyellup Park Rangers’ master’s side took on an undermanned Busselton side on Sunday and controlled the game throughout to score a resounding win 14-2.
The win included five goal from man-of-the-match Phil Kirk and progresses Dalyellup to the next round of the cup. The division one side took on Bunbury United in a tight contest. The game saw chances fall to both sides to win but neither could break the 2-2 deadlock.
Dalyellup trailed early and equalised through Rob Hislop. Both sides pushed for the winner with United having a great chance saved by Lewis Homden and Dalyellup hitting the crossbar from a Matt Coppen free kick. Dalyellup’s man-of-the-match went to Chris Cook.
Dalyellup’s reserves continued their winning way from the previous week with an excellent 3-2 win over Bunbury United.
The game saw the momentum turn back and forth between the sides with Dalyellup coming out on top thanks to two goals from Aussie Living man-of-the-match Dylan Wicksteed and one to Ollie Kirk.
The league fixture saw the top of the table clash that has seen a lot of talk and build in the week leading up to it.
Dalyellup took on Bunbury United with one point separating the two teams at the top of the table. On this occassion, United were by far the better side, extending their lead with a comfortable 3-0 victory.
United’s strength and aerial abilities were the difference, with Dalyellup failing to deal with pin-point balls into the box.
