An Esperance couple who went missing 10 days ago while on a camping trip has been found alive and well.
Jeremy, 41, and Marama Sim, 38, were last seen by family members about 4am on October 18 when they left for a camping trip.
They hadn’t been in contact since, however had been seen by a member of the public at Lake King Tavern Motel later that day.
About 11pm Thursday night, Esperance Police received a call from family of the missing couple advising that they had been located by a friend.
Police have since sighted them and they appeared to be in good health and did not require medical treatment.
It was reported that they had run into trouble when their radiator broke at the beginning of their trip, and had used most of their water supplies to fill it.
While the husband and wife were missing, the couple had radio reception and heard news that police had suspended the search after they failed to find any sign of them or the Nissan Patrol they were travelling in.
Until Wednesday police had been conducting aerial searches above Esperance, Lake King, Balladonia and along the coastline between Esperance to Hopetoun.
The couple has thanked everyone for their assistance and are happy to be back with their children.
More to come.
