A reward has been offered for any information leading to the identification conviction of a person who threw a kitten out of a car window on Friday morning.
The animal rights agency PETA announced today they were offering $5000 to catch the criminal who threw the kitten out the window of a blue dual-cab ute at the Eelup roundabout at around 10.30am Friday.
The kitten was rescued by a passing driver who witnessed the act and brought it to the Eaton Pet Vet where it was treated by veterinarian Dr Kerri Wallis.
Dr Wallis was later brought another kitten which had sustained suspicious injuries to its tail.
The second kitten was of of similar age and colouring to the animal rescued at Eelup.
