The man charged over a crash at Bunbury's Casuarina Harbour which left a local woman dead has appeared in court.
Jeremy Daniel Silver, 44, faced Bunbury Magistrates Court on Monday charged in relation to the March 11 crash which resulted in the death of Michelle Welhan.
Mr Silver stands charged with dangerous driving in circumstances which resulted in a death.
He is also charged with being the driver involved in an incident occasioning death and failing to report that incident to WA Police.
Defence lawyer Jen De Clerk asked Magistrate Evan Shackleton to adjourn the matter until May 1 to allow for the processing of a legal aid application.
Technology issues at the court stopped Magistrate Shackleton from reading the names of the charges to Mr Silver, but Mr Silver acknowledged he understood what he stands accused of.
Bail was renewed on the same conditions.
Mr Silver declined to speak to the media when he left court.
