MANDURAH: Two youths were arrested in Lakelands on Saturday night after two Mandurah police officers were bashed.
The officers had responded to reports of a large number of youths who had gathered near the Madora Bay lookout at Eleanore Drive about 7pm.
Police will allege the youths were acting disorderly, smashing bottles and were seen with eskies and alcohol. Read more.
BUNBURY: Bunbury Police are investigating a burglary which occurred in Bunbury on Saturday, June 3, 2017.
About 10.10pm, it is alleged a light coloured Ford Falcon sedan was used to smash through a shop window at Bunbury Forum Shopping Centre on Sandridge Road. Read more.
MARGARET RIVER: A serving prisoner won't have time added to his term after being sentenced on Thursday in Bunbury Magistrates Court.
Stuart Brent Peck faced court via video from Hakea Prison and pleaded guilty to assault occasioning bodily harm in relation to an incident at Margaret River’s Settlers Tavern which left a staff member with a broken nose. Read more.
AVON VALLEY: Students from six Western Australian high schools have competed in Muresk Institute’s inaugural Dog versus Drone trials, learning about the advancements in modern farming technologies and finding out more about careers in the agriculture industry.
The 12 student pilots selected to compete in the trials received specialist training with drone experts before having the opportunity to race a drone through an obstacle course on the Muresk oval. Read more.
