St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School is all set to provide a day of affordable family fun for the local community on Sunday, October 29.
This is the third year the school’s parents and friend’s association has run the family fun day, with the popular pony rides, lolly jar and baked good stalls, bouncy castles, animal nursery and much more all returning to the school’s oval for the event.
There is no need for parents to avoid the show bag trailer with all show bags on sale priced at $6 or less, with some costing as little as $4 each. There is also no charge for entry to the event which will run from 9am to 2pm.
P and F president Katherine Baldock said there is a small charge for some of the kids’ activities and rides but there are also lots of free activities on offer.
“We’ll have entertainment during the day on the stage as well as a free toddlers’ activity area with playdough, colouring in and lot’s more,” she said.
“We know from our past experience that it is a really great, fun day out for families and we have something for the kids, parents and grandparents to enjoy.”
Acting school principal Natalia Thomson said she was looking forward to seeing everyone participate in the day.
“It’s a wonderful day out for families in the school as well as the wider local community,” Mrs Thomson said.
“The school community works together to make this event a reality.
“The best part is all the funds raised go back into benefiting the children in the school.”
