Hundreds of families joined the Family Fun Day on the St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School oval on Sunday and enjoyed plenty of fun activities.
The St Joseph’s Family Fun day was hailed a success by the Parents and Friends’ Association with the lolly jars, sausage sizzle and kids activities stalls proving to be the most popular on the day.
Bouncy castles, animal nursery, laser tag, pony rides and face painting were also continuously busy.
Young, talented singers and artists took to the stage including 14 year old Elavina Williams playing two sets during the day. The talented singer songwriter has grown in confidence since she first performed for the Family Fun Day three years ago.
Popular teacher Miss Nicole Hearn received the highest number of votes for the "kiss the goat" competition and got into the spirit of the competition kissing the goat on stage.
St Joseph's Catholic Primary School Acting Principal Natalia Thomson said it was fabulous to see students and families having a wonderfull time at the event.
"Thank you to all the parents, volunteers, volunteer coordinators and staff who made the event possible as well as the community, stall holders and sponsors for their support and attendance on the day," she said.
The Parents and Friends’ Association also thanked the many parent volunteers who made the event possible as well as the staff and teachers for their support.
