The price of beer will remain the same but fans can choose from four brews at the new Optus Stadium in 2018.
General admission fans will be offered three mid-strength beers and one cider from official stadium brewer Gage Roads for $8.50 - the same price for beer at Domain Stadium and the WACA.
The special edition line-up from the WA brewer features the Single Fin Summer Ale (light-bodied with a punchy tropical aroma); the Atomic Pale Ale (full-bodied hoppy drop); the ALBY Crisp Lager (classic WA lager first brewed at The Albion) and the Hello Sunshine Cider (a refreshing apple cider), all at 3.5 per cent and served in traditional 425ml plastic cups.
Optus Stadium CEO Mike McKenna said the wide range was reflective of the stadium's fan-first focus.
"We're thrilled to be providing a broad selection for patrons, including two special edition beers that will only be poured at Optus Stadium," he said.
All up, 10 Gage Roads products will be available throughout premium areas of the stadium, including full-strength options like Little Dove, Sleeping Giant IPA, Narrow Neck Pale Ale and Breakwater Australian Pale Ale.
Gage Roads managing director John Hoedemaker said his team was thrilled to brew their beers, at their headquarters just 14km away, for fans at the stadium.
"It's a very exciting time for our company," he said.
Mr Hoedemaker was probably referring to another win for Gage Roads, after the brewery's Single Fin product was announced on Wednesday as the official beer for the Australian leg of the World Rugby Sevens Series.
It's the first time the event will feature a craft beer, which will be available at bars at Allianz Stadium, official Rugby Australia functions and as part of hospitality packages.
Gage Roads partnerships manager James Purcell said the two-year partnership with Rugby Australia and the Sydney 7s would prove invaluable for boosting the WA brewery's profile interstate and overseas.
"The Sydney 7s is Sydney's biggest sport party, so we thought it was only fitting to offer spectators something special to cool off with," he said.
Having craft beer at the Sydney 7s and Optus Stadium is a big shift from the traditional lager-style offerings common to sporting events and represents the shift in tastes among Australian beer drinkers.
Optus Stadium will open this Sunday with a community day, followed by:
