The house in the film The Money Pit, starring Tom Hanks and Shelley Long, is for sale and it's a far cry from the disastrous home that nearly broke up a marriage.

The film is nothing short of hilarious as they soon discover through broken taps, shoddy stairs and faulty electrical work their bargain house purchase was a total dud.
But the 23-room mansion is now up for sale in reality and the New York residence is nothing short of amazing in real life.
