The search is on again for the most outstanding photos showcasing the South West.
The photos will be featured in next year’s South West calendar.
Organised by the South West Development Commission to showcase regional talent and promote the area, the contest has grown in popularity each year it has been held.
With the fourth edition of the competition now open to entries, SWDC acting chief executive Rebecca Ball said now was the time for community members and visitors to get creative for the chance to win.
“This year, we are asking people to turn their lenses to the landscapes and landmarks of the South West,” she said.
“It’s a chance to get creative and showcase what makes the region such a special place to live and visit, with the view to encouraging even more people to explore this amazing corner of Western Australia.”
Photos must be taken between January 1, 2018, and June 30, 2018, and meet the theme landscapes and landmarks, to be considered.
A total of 13 winning photos will be selected to feature in the 2019 This South West Life calendar, along with 13 runner-up winners.
One winner will have the additional honour of being the Chairman’s Choice, while another will receive the CEO's Commendation.
Photography enthusiasts will have until June 30, 2018, to enter the popular annual This South West Life photography competition.
The competition is open to people of all ages, both budding amateurs and professionals.
