ADVENTURE: It was wet and windy conditions for the 1800 competitors in the annual Augusta Anaconda Adventure Race National Series last weekend.
The event is the biggest adventure race in the world and Bunbury residents did not shy away from the challenge.
It is a 62.9km course that includes ocean swimming, kayaking, mountain biking and trail running and is open to relay teams and individuals.
More than 20 teams and individuals from the Bunbury area took part in the race.
Bunbury Chiro Adventure team was first overall with a time of three hours and 52 minutes.
Team organiser Damon Wilmore said it was a great effort by the four competitors.
