ONE of the four parcels of the Hopgood family’s Enmore aggregation has sold. The aggregation on Cunningham Highway is well known as the home of Hopgood Charolais. Enmore was offered in four lots: Kerimbilla Lane (98ha), Eastern (120ha), Homestead (473ha), and Western (257ha). The Eastern block was sold soon after auction for $2500/ha (just over $1000/acre).  The aggregation predominantly comprises of developed scrub soils with mostly brigalow and belah influences. The sweet grazing country is suitable for breeding or fattening livestock. Improvements include a homestead, machinery shed, storage shed, 380t silo space with aerators, 10t grain dryer, and a 400t bulk grain/storage Shed.  The Hopgood family is seeking to make a strategic shift north, closer to its target market.
