headspace Bunbury and Cafe 140 have teamed up for the second year running to support the national day which aims to inspire more Australians to connect with anyone who might be struggling with life.
“We are encouraging locals to head down to Cafe 140 on Thursday for their takeaway coffee in a special R U OK conversation starter cup and wristband,” headspace Bunbury manager Nicky Smith said.
“Last year we had great support for the concept and we saw lots of conversations start in Cafe 140, so we are looking forward to spreading the important message again this year.
“Starting a meaningful conversation with someone who might be feeling overwhelmed, lonely or stressed is something we can all do to make a difference.”
Conversation cards and wristbands are also available from headspace Bunbury on Blair Street.
