THE Donnybrook Theatre Troupe will present Monologues in May at the Big Apple Theatre on the weekend of May 3-4.
In a monologue, the actor has a one-sided conversation with the audience or speaks to an imaginary person.
Sometimes they will speak to themselves.
A complete story can unfold in a very short time and comedy can be mixed with drama.
New writers have added to the eclectic mix of 14 monologues presented.
Some local actors will make their debut in this show.
Peter Davis, whose talent for making people laugh is renowned, will also debut as Master of Ceremonies.
Tickets are now on sale at the Donnybrook Newsagent and bookings are essential.
