PACING: Racing returned to the Bunbury Trotting Club on Easter Saturday with a nine race card.
The winning feeling was shared around on the night with nine different drivers and nine different trainers all claiming one victory.
Short-priced favourite Ohoka Cooper ($1.50) took out the first race for trainer/driver Kade Howson while trainer John Graham and driver Thomas Buchanan produced the roughest result of the night in the second race with Miss Madoff ($14.30).
The third race of the night was a runaway victory for Makemecry Maori ($3.80) in his WA debut for trainer Michael Brennan and driver Michael George.
Driver Lorne Steer drove When I’m Fifty ($2.90) to victory in the fourth event for trainer Bradley Chimnery while consistent driver Matthew White took out race six with Jasper Freeway ($2.80) for trainer Barry Howlett.
An impressive drive from Aldo Cortopassi guided Pure Empathy ($5) to victory in race six – the Easter Cup.
Tuxedo Tour ($1.80) backed up an impressive win in Harvey with victory in race seven for trainer Tom Marsden and driver Kyle Harper.
Long-time campainger The Oyster Bar ($5.40) claimed his 12th win from 117 starts in race eight for driver Colin Brown while Shane Young drove Gotta Xcellerate ($2.50) to victory in race nine for trainer Ray Jones.
