Three members of the Harcourts WA team stopped in Bunbury as they cycled from the company’s most northern office in Geraldton to the most southern office in Busselton – a distance of more than 650 kilometres.
The three riders are members of the Telethon Adventures fundraising team that raise money for research into childhood cancer.
Harcourts Blue Kard-inya managing director Leigh Moore said the ride had been a great adventure.
“So much of the money raised for cancer research benefits adults so we are doing our bit to make sure children are looked after as well,” Mr Moore said.
“It hasn’t been an easy trip but when it’s for charity you just do everything you can to keep going and reach the finish.”
The three riders were supported on their journey by eight support staff and completed the distance in five days.
To make the ride even more worthwhile, media mogul Kerry Stokes pledged to match the group’s fundraising total dollar for dollar.
