THE ROYAL Australian Air Force’s WA base will perform a fly-past over Bunbury and the South West to honour Anzac Day on April 25.
Members of the flying training school from RAAF Base Pearce will perform the fly-past with the PC-9/A, which is a two-seat single engine turboprop aircraft.
This aircraft is the major basic training aircraft for the Australian Defence Force.
The flying training school is home to the future pilots of the Air Force and Navy where they are trained to ‘wings’ stage.
The fly-pasts will be conducted in support of Anzac Day commemorations as conducted by the Returned and Services League across the South West.
The flypasts will occur over the Anzac memorials as follows:
Busselton 9.45am
Donnybrook 10.10am
Walpole 10.25am
Bunbury 11am
Albany 11am
Mount Barker 11am
