This is the second time DCP officers have attended the house, with the previous visit at about 7pm last night.
The DCP's corporate affairs office in WA confirmed the officers had visited the house at 10am this morning in an attempt to engage with the couple.
They knocked on the front door for several minutes before retreating from the scene.
The pair declined to comment when approached by media.
The whereabouts of Mr and Mrs Farnell and their baby daughter, twin sister of Gammy, is unknown.
WA child protection services were called in by police to investigate the "suitability" of the Australian biological father of baby Gammy following the public disclosure of sex offence against children.
A WA Department of Child Protection and Family Support spokesman told Fairfax Media it was contacted by police on Monday night to examine the circumstances of the family following the media reports of past child sex convictions of the father.
Media have been camped out the front of the couple's South Bunbury property since Monday morning.
It is believed the couple spoke to reporters initially, telling them they would issue a statement through their lawyer.
