DONNYBROOK Playgroup are seeking new members and volunteers to help coordinate the group next year.
On Tuesday September 9, Spring into Playgroup will provide an opportunity for families and community members to see what makes Playgroup in Donnybrook tick.
“There will be a super spring session with extra activities for kids,” Treasurer Cara Cristaldi said. “Karen from Playgroup WA will be coming to coordinate some activities and we will provide some morning tea for mums that come along. We’d like to see some new faces and the return of some old faces to welcome spring.”
Mrs Cristaldi said helping to run Playgroup was a volunteer-based activity.
“It may be something you’re interested in being involved with next year,” she said.
“It’s a great way to involved with a volunteer program that benefits your kids. It’s great for small communities to have facilities like this and great for people to attend them to keep things running.”
Anybody who is interested in getting involved can speak to Cara, Jess, Karen or Janet at Spring into Playgroup, or attend a regular session.
Playgroup runs every Tuesday from 9-11am for 0-4 year olds at the Community Centre on Allnutt Street next to the Child health nurse’s office.
