South West Detectives have charged a 21 year old Australind man after a series of incidents on Sunday.

It is alleged the man went to a home in Parmelia Street where he stole a heavy lever from an excavator parked in the driveway.
It is further alleged around 5pm, the man went to a property on Old Coast Road in Australind where he threatened two women, aged 64 and 63 years of age, who were standing in the carport of the home and demanded the keys to their vehicle.
The man forced the two women inside the home, threatening them with the heavy lever.
He allegedly assaulted the 64 year old woman, resulting in her receiving facial injuries including a broken nose, while the 63 year old woman was locating the car keys.
The man fled in the vehicle he stole from them.
It is also alleged the man was seen driving the stolen vehicle recklessly along Old Coast Road and the Australind Bypass.
A short distance prior to the Paris Road intersection, he lost control of the vehicle.
The vehicle rolled and he was thrown from the vehicle, receiving a several broken bones.
He was taken to Bunbury Regional Hospital for treatment.
The man has been charged with aggravated armed robbery, aggravated burglary, aggravated assault occasioning bodily harm, stealing a motor vehicle and reckless driving.
He is due to appear in the Bunbury Magistrates Court on September 1 via a bedside hearing.
