DARTS: Bunbury cleaned up at the state junior darts championships on the weekend with a number of prizes won at the Belmont Sport and Recreation Centre.
Bunbury took out first and second in the boys singles with Samuel Klung crowned champion with Mitchel Beswick the runner up.
Klung then combined with Dylan Parke from Bunbury to take out the boys pairs event.
The success continued with Bunbury’s Angela Clarke winning the girls singles before joining teammate Renee Beswick on the top of the podium as girls pairs champions.
Six Bunbury boys were named in the state squad in Samuel Klung, Caleb VanVugt, Mitchel Beswick, Dylan Parke, Bobby Kellond and Mark Gray.
Four Bunbury girls were also named in the state squad in Renee Beswick, Angela Clarke, Dakota VanVugt and Olivia Willemsen.
To round out the day Angela Clarke and Samuel Klung were awarded the Betty Hislop perpetual shield as winners of the state championships.
