Organiser Sue Leary said the whole school was involved in the project and supportive of the cause.
“It helps teach the children to be understanding of other’s needs,” she said.
Ms Leary was assisted by staff members and the community in preparing an immaculate and very appealing morning tea around the pink theme, while community members donated the prizes and local gardens were raided for decorations.
Visitors from Donnybrook, Balingup and Kirup supported the occasion.
“It’s great to have the local Kirup community come into the school as well,” Ms Leary said.
$1005.50 was raised thanks to the generosity of the Kirup School staff and students and the local communities.
