Local cricketers paid tribute to Phillip Hughes on Sunday, before South Midlands cricket match between the Dandaragan Bears and Bindoon Bushrangers.
Player lined their caps and bats outside the Dandaragan clubhouse, observing a minute’s silence before the start of the match.
Australian cricketer Phil Hughes tragically died after being hit in the head by a bouncer last week, in what has been described as a ‘freak accident.’
The cricketing world has poured out tributes for the players from international teams to local clubs.
