No matter what she is doing and how busy she is, the 27-year-old can’t help but stop and appreciate the beauty of the natural phenomenon – especially when the sun is setting over Bunbury’s Back Beach.
It is this passion that saw her snap the winning photographs in the Jeanswest Snap Shot Series competition, which meant images of Bunbury sunsets have been printed on t-shirts sold across the country and internationally.
The competition called on photographers to submit images that captured what summer meant to them and post them on Instagram for a chance to win.
Miss Miller’s striking photos were selected from thousands of entrants and have formed part of an exclusive limited edition men’s t-shirt and singlet collection sold in more than 230 Jeanswest stores throughout Australia and New Zealand.
The passionate Bunbury advocate, who is the marketing manager at the Bunbury Regional Entertainment Centre, is thrilled to help put the city on the map.
“I think we get the greatest sunsets in the world there, and no matter how many I watch I never get tired of them,” Miss Miller said.
“You're only ever going to have a certain number of sunsets in your life so I try to watch most of them.
“I also love how isolated our Back Beach is – despite the fact that Bunbury is a city you can still find massive stretches of beach with hardly any people around – it’s peaceful.”
Her images were singled out in a judging panel led by Jeanswest celebrity ambassador Nathan Jolliffe, renowned photographer Steve Baccon and Jeanswest Menswear Designer Clint Curtis.
