AVID bowlers gathered in Donnybrook for the Blackwood League Pennant on Saturday January 24.
Donnybrook White beat arch enemy Balingup 85 shots to 50, gaining 5 points to 1.
Donnybrook Blue beat the current League leaders, the Pemberton Potato Farmers, 84 shots to 58 gaining 4 ½ points to 1 ½. Pemberton had an Irish import, Geoff Flynn, playing for them but they’ll need another six like him to beat Donnybrook.
