Cbl Stratton is from Perth, but started out his career in Hertfordshire just outside London. He said the main difference between policing in England and Australia was that you followed things through more in Australia.
Donnybrook is his first rural posting, and he is enjoying the change.
“I’m glad to be here and hopefully can make a difference in the town,” he said.
Cbl Stratton is looking forward to getting involved with the community, and has already joined the local cricket team.
