THE Bunbury community is invited to take to the streets and get into the spirit of the annual Viva Bunbury street fiesta, returning to the city on Saturday, March 7 from 5pm.
Held as part of Bunbury’s Autumn Racing Carnival, the event includes an impressive line-up of Latin-themed entertainment as Victoria Street becomes awash with colour and vibrancy.
From salsa lessons and displays to Rio Samba Queens, live Latin music performed by the Nueva Salsa Orchestra and face-painting all night, there will be something for everyone.
Beleza Entertainment will bring stilt walkers, drummers and dancers to keep the atmosphere elevated.
Two giant pinatas will also feature at this year’s Viva, inviting guests to have a bash and get in the running to win great prizes from local businesses.
Motorists are advised that Victoria Street between Symmons and Wellington Streets will be closed between 2pm and midnight.
The event kicks off in Victoria Street at 5pm on Saturday, March 7 before winding down at 9pm.
This is an alcohol and smoke free event brought to Bunbury as part of the WA Country Cups initiative.
Dazzling display will bring the street party to life
GET ready to be dazzled by the amazing Beleza Entertainment performers who will feature at this year’s Viva Bunbury street fiesta.
A variety of roving performers will put on a spectacular showcase of Brazilian music and dance throughout the evening.
