Staff and students put in a great effort to decorate the venue so it matched the theme with feathers, masks, parrots and plenty of colour.
The transformation began on Friday and everything was in place by late Saturday afternoon.
The traditional cavalcade of vehicles paraded around the school oval from 7pm, with a variety of Fords, Holdens, a fire truck and even a caravan dropping guests off on the red carpet.
Everyone was stunningly dressed in sparkling dresses and very neat tuxedos with matching ties and handkerchiefs.
The music kept pumping all night with most people getting out and having a dance, even the many staff who attended.
The night went off without a hitch thanks to the careful and through planning of Sharron Moulden with expert assistance from Candice Ienco and the Ball Committee – Paige Sewell, Lena Perry, Denae Malatesta, James Moulden, Jarrod Vickers, Georgia Ryan, Chloe Underdown, Philip Darcey, Travis Patmore and Zac Langridge.
They were helped by Jennifer Williams, Jenny Carlile, Naree Darcy, Leanne Sciesinski, Larnie Jackson, David Moulden, Chris and Croz Vickers, Christina and Ben Coman, Cathy Smith, Aimee-Lee Annandale, Ellena and Lena Perry, Kirsten Thomson, Katie Pettingill, Steve Wayman, Richard Heptinstall, Mark Woodland, Anne Crockford, Stacey Wellington and Adam Blackmore.
Four waiters Tamsin Blurton, Chloe Craker, Taylah MacIntyre and Margarete Sciesinski did a great job of keeping the food coming through the night.
Their efforts were most appreciated.
On hand to record the night was Bylund Photographics – thanks go to John, Janine, Jenny and James for their attendance on the night. Formal photos will be available for sale through Pete’s menswear.
