THE Bridgetown-Greenbushes Shire hosted a Blessing of the Roads in the lead up to Easter.
Emergency services representatives, students from Greenbushes Primary School, Bridgetown Primary School and St Brigid's Primary school, local church representatives and community members attended the ceremony.
The Blessing of the Roads campaign is an annual state-wide road safety awareness campaign run in the lead up to and during the Easter long weekend.
The campaign calls on the community to be responsible when using the roads by encouraging them to turn off mobile phones when driving, belt up, take a break and don't drink and drive.
