A LARGE crowd headed to the Graham Bricknell Music Shell on Friday to support those affected by the tragic earthquake in Nepal.
Bunbury’s Nepalese community held a candlelight vigil from 6pm to show support for those affected by the 7.8 magnitude earthquake, which has claimed more than 5000 lives and left tens of thousands homeless.
Bunbury resident Bishwa Mishra said local Nepalese families had been shocked by the tragedy and had been intently watching television reports for news from their homeland.
“The lighting of candles is a way of showing support to those who have suffered from this tragic event,” Mr Mishra said.
