IGA general manager Brad Johnson said it was a pleasure to support the group, who call themselves Donnybrook Mum's Sing.
"I hope it's a great success and an encouragement for our local mums," he said.
The money will assist them with the cost of running their group at the rec centre. Group facilitator Holly Mickell said the group was made up of mums with young children.
"It allows us to do something during the day and offer a creche as well," she said.
"The group is for mums, but it's not about being a mum - it's something creative. The talent has blown me away." The group have been booked for performances at the Craig McLaren fundraiser, Seniors Week and the Lions Christmas Fair.
"We threw ourselves in at the deep end," Mrs Mickell said. "None of us are musically trained. We keep the songs relevant to us.
"We're grateful to IGA for their support."
